TabTrade Broker Review - What to Know Before You Sign Up

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That should be a good addition when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It does inform your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before funding.
