TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
TabTrade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
